Tester terms
Version 2026-10-02. These are the terms for testing Atmos1. They are short on purpose.
Atmos1 is test software
- It is not finished. It may have faults. It may stop working.
- It is provided as is. We do not promise that it will work, or work all the time.
- Check what Atmos1 types before you rely on it. Keep copies of important work.
Please report problems
Telling us what goes wrong is the point of testing. Use "Report a problem" in Atmos1, or write to us at jamie.briggs.2023@uni.strath.ac.uk.
Do not misuse it
- Keep your account to yourself.
- Do not try to break into this site or the app, or get round its limits.
- Do not use Atmos1 to harm anyone.
Changes and ending
- We may change Atmos1 or these terms. If the terms change, we will ask you to agree again.
- We may end your access at any time, for example when the test ends.
- You can stop at any time. To have your account deleted, write to us at jamie.briggs.2023@uni.strath.ac.uk.
Software and voices made by other people
- Atmos1 includes open-source software and voices made by other people. Each is used under its own licence.
- They are listed in Atmos1 (Settings, then About) and on our licences page.
- Those licences apply to those parts. Nothing in these terms takes away the rights they give you, such as the right to ask for and change the source code of the open-source parts.
- Natural voices are downloaded from huggingface.co when you ask for them.
Money
There is nothing to pay while you test Atmos1.
Our responsibility
As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for loss caused by using test software. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law.
